Rosemary Oatmeal Beauty Scrub

       Let's start a small amount of skin abrasion with this easy to make rosemary oatmeal beauty scrub:

    * 2 oz. almonds
    * Half bar hotel type soap
    * 1 dram rosemary oil ( essential oil not fragrance oil )
    * 1 box oatmeal

     Combine almonds and soaps in blender and pulverize. Add the soap/almond mixture to the oatmeal.
     Mix in rosemary oil and toss.
     Package in 2" x 2" cheesecloth squares to use for scrubs.

   The Rosemary/Oatmeal Scrubs will stimulate circulation and act as a toner/cleanser.

Chamomile Skin Toner

     Chamomile is one of the most used herbs for cosmetic purposes, although it is often thought of as solely a calming tea. Well here's a new way to make a chamomile skin toner.

     * Boil together 1/4 cup chamomile tea (see below for recipe) and 2 cups water
     * Keep 1 cup warm and refrigerate the other cup

       As needed you then alternate hot and cold compresses for a radiant look.

Practical tip:   Save having to wash more dishes - Use one jar and when you wet the compress with the cool chamomile blend then if you want it hot just microwave for short time. No need to dirty extra dishes, that's not the Herbanite method!!!

Chamomile Sun Tea -

Put in 1/4 cup chamomile flowers in a 1/2 gallon jar.
Set in sunny area for 4 - 6 hours

Use what you need for above and then few teaspoons of honey and enjoy the remainder while you sit back and relax under your compress- that's the Herbanite way!!
